Every now and then we come across some really weird moving news, and this story is no exception.
As you may or may not have heard, many people believe that the world is coming to an end specifically on December 21, 2012. The date has been a prediction for thousands of years and is based on the abrupt ending of the ancient Mayan calendar.
Apocalyptic predictions and fear of the end of the world have caused uproars for centuries. In fact, earlier this year Pastor Harold Camping predicted – incorrectly as far as we can tell – the world would end on May 21 (2011). Obviously, that passed and we’re still here, we think. But, that didn’t stop many people from selling their homes and moving to bunkers and other remote homes.
We usually hear about the fanatics taking to extremes when another “end of days” scenario is presented to us. But, rarely do we hear of a business making such moves. Well, adult film company, Pink Visual, is taking the more extreme route.
Pink Visual recently announced its plans to build a real life bomb shelter in the valley (outside of Los Angeles) to protect its staff, members of their immediate families, performers, business partners, and fans from the fire and brimstone some people think might bear down on us in 2012.
The bunker will be equipped with a full production studio, a bar, microbrewery, performance stage, and other strange amenities. Obviously during the apocalypse you will need a fully functioning microbrewery and porn stage!
The company says that it will hold a lottery for its fans – the lucky winners will get to move into the underground bunker and ride out Armageddon with their favorite stars!
