What do you know about moving into the Hollywood lifestyle? Most of us see nice kids turn into real bad boys. Just consider some of the vilification that Rob Lowe, Russell Crowe, and Mel Gibson have received in the press. While a lot of us think it’s a sign of the times, Hollywood has always had its fair share of bad boys. Remember Errol Flynn? While you wouldn’t want to move along the same path he took in life, you may want to consider one of his party houses.
Between the 1930s and 1950s, Errol Flynn was Hollywood’s poster boy for bad behavior. In fact, most of his wild Hollywood parties took place in an exclusive Bel Air-Holmby Hills mansion located at 345 St. Pierre Road. The 13,000 square foot mansion, which was owned by Bruce Cabot (the actor that played Jack Driscoll in the original 1933 “King Kong”), is the site of Flynn’s infamous alleged statutory rape of two underage girls. Cabot would move out some time later.
It is easy to imagine plenty of parties moving at the speed of light in this house. At $39,000 per month in rent, you will get the site of endless Hollywood legends but also 12 bathrooms, 7 bedrooms, an internal phone system, a media room, a bar, a den, a guesthouse, and a pool. The house is situated on a 0.66 acre gated lot. So, if you want to move into a home filled with Hollywood history, this is it!
