Harrison Ford’s Previous CPW Apartment Sells

The last owner has just sold an apartment previously owned by Harrison Ford on Central Park West (CPW).  We’re wondering if he’s moving to a galaxy far, far away – just kidding!  The historic and grand building located at 101 Central Park West was built in 1930 and has 19 floors.  In 1953, the building was converted into a co-op and has housed famous faces ever since.  In fact, many stars have relocated in and out of that building.

Ford’s apartment is a 6,400 square foot beauty with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.  In total, there are 14 rooms from which to enjoy the spectacular views of the park and the Big Apple, respectively.  Who wouldn’t want to move in right away?  The apartment was on the market for about $26 million and sold, though we haven’t heard if the last owner got their asking price or not.

The building is located between 70 and 71 Streets and is one of the few buildings in the neighborhood that doesn’t actually have a name.  You may have heard of the El Dorado or the San Remo, both of which are nearby.  The apartment previously owned by Ford has a penthouse and is quite impressive, based on what we’ve heard.  Anyone wanting a great view and easy access to some of the best things in New York City would definitely want to consider relocating to this neighborhood.
