The Hospice of San Luis Obispo County is about to undergo a change of location. The Hospice is set to move its offices in North County in order to be able to both increase ease of access to services for its clients and in order to cut down on the costs of overheads.
The relocation that the Hospice of San Luis Obispo County is making will be from its current location at 1345 Oak Street in Paso Robles to the address 811 12th Street, Suite 301, which is also located in Paso Robles and is a shared space alongside the Community Counseling Center of San Luis Obispo County. The move intended to increase the efficiency of services performed by both agencies, which share many of the same client list.
“Clients of both agencies will benefit from ease of referral and access between the services provided as they are needed,” says the executive director of the Hospice of San Luis Obispo County, Kris Kington-Barker.
The Hospice of San Luis Obispo County has been providing free bereavement and grief counseling to the support groups, individuals and families in Paso Robles over the course of the last ten years. The central office of the Hospice of San Luis Obispo County is situated, as is suggested by its name, in San Luis Obispo, where it has been in operation for the last 35 years, according to a recent news release.
