Every year there is a White House Correspondents’ Dinner to which journalists are invited. Each time the dinner is held, a number of celebrities are also invited. The journalists who are honored at the dinner mostly cover the Washington DC area and news, so it tends to be a crowded party.
It was recently revealed that Kim Kardashian and Lindsey Lohan would be attending the dinner. They are also scheduled to sit at the same table, which has journalists and critics alike talking. It is said that the president will do a bit of his own stand-up comedy along with some of the other attendees, who tend to joke and make fun of each other as part of the entertainment.
Those scheduled to be at the dinner include Diane Keaton, George Clooney, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Zooey Deschanel, Sofia Vergara, Charlize Theron, Dakota Fanning, Daniel Day Lewis and Aziz Ansari. Also mentioned were Jason Schwartzman, Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin.
The host of the event will be Jimmy Kimmel. With quite a few stars scheduled to appear, it should be quite a dinner. Events like this always bring about discussions and anticipation to see just what will happen. Lindsay Lohan has had problems for the last few years, so her appearance is probably one of the most talked about for a presidential hosted dinner, whereas many others have been well known in their political standings.
