Lindsay Lohan is moving back home to live with her mother. The 26-year-old former child star is set to cohabit with her mother Dina Lohan in a bid to try to clear her ever-escalating debts. The move to Long Island in New York follows the news that Lindsay spent up big in order to fly to court first class, after initially claiming that she was too sick to show up.
“Lindsay is flat out broke and can’t even afford to rent a two bedroom apartment in North Hollywood,” said a source. The troubled starlet is reported to have been turned away from at least two hotels in the first half of last week, although she and her mother did eventually manage to stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
Following the relocation back to her mother’s nest, Lindsay will have to face going back to court again next month, where she is facing trial for charges relating to lying to police officers and reckless driving in connection with a car accident that took place on the Pacific Coast Highway in June 2012.
At the time, Lohan was already on probation for jewelry theft. The judge told her that even if she was found not guilty by the jurors in her trial, she could still be found to have violated her probation due to the burden of proof being lower. Nonetheless, Lohan rocked up to court last week in Louboutins and a stylish Chanel dress.
