Michael J. Fox Voices the ‘Back to the Future’ Game

For you, the perfect housewarming gift for someone who has just moved into a new home might be a bottle of wine or a care package of cleaning implements.  For a true gamer and movie buff, the latest ‘Back to the Future’ video game might be ideal.  For true Marty McFly fans, we have good news!

Michael J. Fox will be lending his voice, once again, for a couple of characters in the latest ‘Back to the Future’ game.  Sadly, everyone is moving on after this installment, which will be the fifth and final one.  Fox will be voicing Marty, of course, but also an older character we meet at the start of the game.

The game, known as ‘Outatime’ will be available on PC, iPad, and Mac on June 23rd.  In the game, Marty McFly and Doc Brown have had a falling out and are actually working for different purposes throughout the game.

Rumors are swirling that Christopher Lloyd, who played Doc Brown in the three “Back to the Future” movies and voiced the same character in the games, may have actually campaigned to get Fox to work on this game.

The funny thing is that Fox required the writers to develop his parts and dialogue before he agreed to sign on and we’re glad he did.
