By now, you’ve probably heard the news that superstar couple, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, are getting a divorce. Sure, the celebrities are splitting up and they may end up sharing custody of their toddler twins, but what we want to know is whether they’ll be selling their house and who is moving out first.
OK, so while J Lo and Anthony may be moving to Celebrity Splitsville, we’re wondering if they will be staying in any of their three houses. The houses are located in New York (two in Glen Head to be exact) and Los Angeles (Hidden Hills). Experts are saying that all three houses will probably hit the market before the ink is even dry on the divorce papers.
J Lo and Anthony aren’t the only celebrity couple splitting up and putting their house on the market. Sadly, Mel Gibson, Kelsey Grammar, and a slew of other celebrities are moving out of their marital homes.
Celebrities aren’t the only ones getting divorced and subsequently forced to relocate. Relocations due to divorce happen everyday, but people also have to move when a spouse dies, a child goes to college, or loss of a job. But, J Lo probably won’t have to worry too much about the financial implications of her split.
The houses are all pretty fantastic. The Hidden Hills estate is located in the San Fernando Valley with nine bedrooms, 17,219 square feet and was bought back in January 2010 for $8.5 million. One of the New York homes was featured in Vogue Living magazine when their twins were born.
