Another Classic Hollywood Home

Another Classic Hollywood Home

Fancy living in Johnny Knoxville's old home? There is no denying it, everyone has their dream home.  Many dream homes are located in Los Angeles – in the Hollywood Hills specifically.  You see these homes in movies and television shows and you may think to yourself, “It might be really nice to move there.”  So often however, those homes are out of our reach.  But, if you have $10,000 a month to spend on rent, you could hang your hat in a real classic Hollywood home.

The 4,834 square foot home located at 6248 Primrose Avenue in Los Angeles is exactly that – a dream home.  It was built in 1929 and has been featured in many television shows and films.  Most recently, it’s been off the screen and was the home of Johnny Knoxville (of the “Jackass” movie fame) and his former wife, Melanie Clapp (a clothing designer).  The couple lived in the home throughout their marriage but they have recently moved out.

In addition to its sprawling layout, the Beachwood Canyon estate has a separate guest unit equipped with both a kitchen and living room.  The main house also has four bedrooms and 5 ½ bathrooms.  Some of the amenities you probably wouldn’t mind moving in for include a pool, patio, spa, and dark beamed ceilings.  Oh, and did we mention the fantastic view of the city?

So, if you want to relocate to a classic Hollywood home with plenty of privacy – the 0.17 acre lot is both walled and gated – this may be your best bet.  It was recently listed for sale for $2.29 million if you would rather buy it than lease.  If that’s out of your moving budget, you can always dream!
