Brooklyn’s Priciest Home

Brooklyn’s Priciest Home

Moving to Brooklyn, New York is one of the most popular trends in the moving industry these days.  The borough is hip, family-friendly, and “the place to be” if you’re not going to live in Manhattan.  So if you want to move to Brooklyn, now is the time.

The market hasn’t started appreciating in New York City as much as home sellers would like, but that just means people can buy homes at a lower price and move in with more in their pockets.  But, that doesn’t mean some of the best homes don’t come with hefty price tags.

If you have $23 million burning a hole in your pocket, you’re in luck!  You can move into Brooklyn’s priciest home right away!  This seemingly high price is actually down quite a bit from the original asking price of $25 million.

With more than 7,000 square feet, the apartment spans three floors and is found in the Clocktower Building.  The home is actually one of the most expensive in the entire borough though that hasn’t stopped it from selling in the past.  In fact, it has even had a few famous potentials interested in moving in!

When the unit was first listed, rumors were abounding that music superstar Jay Z, a Brooklyn native was interested in the property.  The music mogul is no stranger to big real estate deals.  He recently dropped $66 million on a property in Chelsea in 2007.
