Gisele Bundchen, the supermodel wife of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, is looking for a way to expand the couple’s portfolio of real estate into the Empire State.
The beautiful new mother is looking to move into a new home in New York with her family. Gisele and Tom have been sighted looking at luxury pads located in the West Village area, the New York Post was told by Ryan Serhant of Million Dollar Listings. The couple used to live in the city, with Gisele selling her lavish town house for $4.4 million and Tom accepting $17.5 million for his Time Warner Center residence two years ago, back in 2011. Gisele also scored a further $12.95 million after relocation from her home in Barrow Street in 2009.
The couple’s current home in Las Vegas, which is shared with their children Vivian and Benjamin and five-year-old John from Tom’s prior relationship, has just lately been remodeled in order to incorporate a moat, a bridge and a resort-style swimming pool in the back yard.
While some have criticized the couple for the size of their home, which includes a six-car garage, gym, wine cellar and eight bedrooms, Gisele claims that the family makes as many green choices as possible. “We are excited to be using solar power as the main source of electricity in our home,” she says. “And we are planting our own herbs, fruits and vegetables, which will be my favorite part of the house.”
