Well, we’ve found a house up for rent that you might really get a kick out of – and no, it’s not Graceland! Located at 1174 North Hillcrest Road, you will find the 5,367 square foot house that Elvis bought for just $400,000 in 1967 when he was a youthful 32 years old. At the time, the house was only nine. Shortly after the sale, Elvis, Priscilla, and Lisa Marie moved right in and filled up the four-bedroom, five-bath home.
The year the Presley family moved in was a big year for Elvis. He recorded both “Guitar Man” and “Big Boss Man” and perhaps even solidified his love for peanut butter and banana sandwiches. Either way, we think it’s pretty cool that the house Elvis once lived in is now available for rent.
Want to hear a little more about the house? After all, if you want to move in you should also know that it is actually a split-level mansion rather than just a “house.” The French Regency style home has a mansard roof and is situated on a sprawling 1.18-acre estate boasting impressive views of the hills and canyons.
