If you are thinking about moving and see a house that you think fits the bill, there are a few factors that should be taken into consideration above and beyond important but obvious factors such as the size of the yard, the condition of the kitchen and how many rooms the house has.
It is an old saying that the top three most important things that you need to think about when you make a move are location, location, location. Almost any imperfection in your new home can be lived with provided that you get on with the neighbors and love the neighborhood. After all, pretty much anything and everything else can be altered if you don’t like it, but the location of the home certainly can’t.
When you decide that the time has come for relocation and start looking for your next home, consider where the home is in relation to where you have to go to work, what the neighborhood is like, how easy access is to the house, whether there are noisy neighbors, pets or traffic in the area, and whether you would be close to amenities such as public transportation, schools, shops and parks.
The particular site of the house should also be examined. If the house is situated on a hill, does it come with a view, lots of stairs to climb or walkout basement? Do the windows of your neighbors look directly into your home? Is the yard suitable for pets, children or gardening? All of these things need to be considered.
