myBMS Moving & Storage Free Move Contest Voting to End Soon,
Winner to be Announced March 30
WARRENVILLE, Ill. – The final round of voting for the Free Move Contest ends tomorrow, Tuesday, March 29 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. The two remaining families are vying for a free, full-service move with a retail value worth up to $7,500. The Windham family from Land O Lakes, Fla. and Sandy Garcia’s family from Lancaster, Calif. are the two remaining finalists. Fans can go to www.freemovecontest.com to read the stories and vote for the family they feel is most deserving of a free move. Votes can be entered once per day per valid email address.
Voting for the Free Move Contest began Wednesday, March 16 with six contestants. Since then, “votes have poured in to help one deserving family win a full service move,” said Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Lance Grooms. The six original candidates were chosen by a panel of judges who accepted stories based on need, story, acceptability and judges’ opinion. The candidates were organized into two brackets and fans voted for their favorite candidate in each bracket. Sandy Garcia had the most votes from Bracket No. 1 and the Windham family won Bracket No. 2.
myBMS Moving & Storage is co-sponsoring the contest and will provide the moving and packing services. CDS Moving Equipment, Inc. will supply the necessary protective wrapping paper, bubble wrap, boxes and supplies to the winner.
