Hotel Bel-Air Reopening After Two Years

Hotel Bel-Air Reopening After Two Years

If you’ve never been to the Hotel Bel-Air, you might want to go soon! In mid-October, the hotel finally reopened after a two-year hiatus following a massive hotel renovation. The hotel renovation covered a lot of territory at the Hotel Bel-Air. The hotel developers added 12 new rooms, all facing the canyon.

For more than 50 years, the Hotel Bel-Air has been a favorite vacation destination of the Hollywood A-List. Since 1946, the hotel has been a fashionable Hollywood retreat where people go to escape the hustle and bustle of the real world. Some of the best of Los Angeles is just minutes away, including Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills.

The Hotel Bel-Air offers guests luxurious seclusion with cutting edge amenities and top-notch rooms. The Hollywood history associated with it is truly fascinating – legends like Grace Kelly, Angelina Jolie, Marilyn Monroe and Nicole Kidman have all stayed in the hotel.

Now, the hotel will feature a new spa and fitness studio in addition to the twelve new rooms we mentioned above – oh, and those all happen to have their own infinity-edge spa pool. However, unless you have the Hollywood Hills budget, you might not want to stay – you’ll drop almost $14,000 per night!

Though the hotel renovation will likely bring back all the stars, the hotel will not be bringing back many of the 250 staffers that were laid off in 2009 for the renovation. Critics say that the mass lay off was to eliminate union jobs, though that is up for debate.
