Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are said to be moving to Paris. So enamored of the creative vibe of the French capital is the Power rapper, who last week performed an intimate gig there, that he intends to move there for two months in order to work on both his new album and his clothing range. It is expected that his pregnant girlfriend will be joining him there.
The Daily Mirror was told by a source: “Kanye loves the city’s creative vibe and has decided to be based there for a few months so he can work on his music and fashion line”.
The 35-year-old music star and 32-year-old Kim are expecting their first child. West once famously rapped about his affection for the city in N*****s in Paris, his Watch The Throne track with collaborator Jay-Z that ended up winning a Grammy Award.
“I am where art meets commercial,” West declared of the song. “The sweet spot between the hood and Hollywood. Having a conversation with Karl Lagerfeld and Jay-Z within the same hour. When we’re in Paris dressing all crazy at fashion shows, we listening to Jay-Z. Jeezy in Paris, that’s what it is.”
The celebrity couple already caused waves before the news of their impending relocation leaked out, thanks to a steamy naked embrace on the front cover of the popular French magazine L’Officiel Hommes.
