Sometime actress and full time party girl Lindsay Lohan has officially confirmed a shift to New York City. The troubled celebrity has confirmed that she intends to move to Tribeca in New York City along with her assistant Gavin Doyle, hoping to leave her jailbird days (not to mention her $46,000 hotel bill) behind her.
“Lohan is already settling back into the Manhattan party circuit,” claims Confidenti@I. “On Tuesday she was spotted with former Yankees Pat Kelly and Shane Spencer at Dorrian’s, the upper East Side bastion of prep school kids, downing vodka and sodas and even jumping on the mic for some karaoke.” The site also noted that when they contacted Lohan’s representative about the star’s relocation to New York City, they were told: “I think right now people should focus on the presidential race and the future of our country.”
The ex-Disney sweetheart, who stormed into showbiz with a career-making role at the age of just 12 in the remake of The Parent Trap, is now a gossip columnist and paparazzo’s dream. She has been in and out of rehab and jail, is constantly partying, and was happy to get naked in a Marilyn Monroe inspired issue of Playboy.
Next up for the actress, apart from her forthcoming shift to New York City, is playing a character by the name of Tara in the movie The Canyons, which is scheduled for cinema release in 2013. New York’s paparazzi can doubtless hardly wait.
