Contrary to previous rumors that Twilight co-stars and real life lovers Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were once again living together, it would appear that this is not the case. Fans need not fret, however, with the revelation that the 22-year-old Stewart has bought a $2.1 million home located in the same neighborhood in Los Angeles as the 26-year-old Pattinson. The properties are around a mile and a half apart, according to real estate site Zillow.com.
Stewart had to move out of Pattinson’s home several months ago, with the couple splitting up in the wake of a scandal where she admitted to a very public indiscretion with Rupert Sanders, the much older married director of her movie Snow White and the Huntsmen. It appears, however, that the couple has been able to bounce back from the trauma and has reconciled, with the pair set to promote their new film, Breaking Dawn Part 2, the last in the Twilight series, later this month.
“They seem attached to the hip again,” a source observed to People magazine. “They spent all weekend together. They are back to hanging out with their old group of friends. Everything seems back to normal again.”
Rumor had it that the couple had once again decided to move in together, but it appears that the source may simply have been Pattinson moving back in to his old house and rethinking his initial decision to sell after the split with his girlfriend.
