Do you have $2.3 million and want to move to New York City? If so, you are in luck because funny lady and star of the wildly popular 30 Rock, Tina Fey, has put her condo on the market.
Fey and her husband put the condo on the market just recently even though they moved out over a year ago. They moved into a bigger apartment after having a second child. The couple bought the space back in 2005 for $1.9 million.
We think that the price Fey is asking is a good sign for the housing market. If she can sit on the property for more than a year and then list it for almost $400,000 more than what she paid for it before the housing bubble burst, things must be looking up. But then again, she is a famous TV star.
Located at 500 West End Avenue, #2C, the corner unit condo is 1,873 square feet. It has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Additionally, the space has a 31-foot entrance gallery that leads to both the dining and living rooms. French doors, blond herringbone-patterned hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace and a black grand piano make this condo a place worth moving into.
If that doesn’t work for you, the penthouse in the same building is on the market for about $10 million. So, it really depends on if you want to move to the Big Apple in a big way, or keep it modest.
Either way, Tina Fey won’t be your neighbor on West End Avenue. She and her family have moved to a five-bedroom condo elsewhere in the city.
