Twilight star Robert Pattinson has endured a tough few weeks since the revelation that girlfriend Kristen Stewart had an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsmen director Rupert Sanders. The 26-year-old actor’s life has since become a media frenzy with both having elected to move out of the Bel-Air home they shared together and seeking refuge with friends. Now, however, some are speculating that the actor may be over his anger and ready for another relocation – back home with Stewart.
According to Radar Online, a number of Pattinson’s close friends have been indicating that the popular celebrity couple may be on the verge of reconciliation. Pattinson was understandably furious with his co-star and girlfriend in the initial weeks after the revelation of her affair, not to mention the very public embarrassment it caused him, and close friends have apparently been giving him conflicting advice. Some say he should move on from Stewart, with others believing that they share a special bond that should not be thrown away over one brief indiscretion.
Pattinson clearly has not made up his mind as yet, giving little away on his first public appearance since the split on Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show on Monday. The actor is apparently wary of the media tour he has upcoming for his new film Cosmopolis and wants to avoid mention of the scandal, fearing he may be provoked into saying something he would regret and mar any possible chance of salvaging his and Stewart’s relationship.
