It may surprise you to learn, but Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is expanding into Orlando, which is a market they haven’t previously explored. In the very near future, the company will be opening its first owned hotel in the Lake Buena Vista area – the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek.
This announcement actually marks the ninth time in the last year that Wyndham has opened a property in the Sunshine State.
The new hotel will be located at on Chelonia Parkway and will be managed by Wyndham Hotel Management. It will be basically next door to the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort, a timeshare resort, which is owned by Wyndham Vacation Ownership, an Orlando-based organization.
This exciting new venture doesn’t come with any expansive hotel renovations but with completely new construction. There are three other Wyndham properties in the Orlando area including the Wyndham Orlando Resort, the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort, and the Reunion Resort and Club Wyndham Grand Resort, all of which have top-notch rooms and very classy layouts.
The Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek will offer 400 rooms and suites overlooking the hotel’s 10-acre lake and the Disney World parks. Each of the rooms offers contemporary furniture, large-screen televisions, and high-speed Internet. And since the hotel is right-smack in the middle of Disney, there will be plenty of family-friendly fun.
