If you grew up watching (and loving) the popular television show “The Brady Bunch” you probably always wanted to move in with the family. Well, now all your dreams can come true – sort of! Eve Plumb, who played Jan Brady, has put one of her homes up for rent. So, while you can’t actually become the seventh Brady child, you can move into one of their homes.
Located at 27200 Escondido Beach Road in lovely Malibu, Plumb’s cottage is going for $5,800 a month. So, if that is just pocket change for you – move right in! Or, this could be the ideal solution for a summer relocation. Though the house’s square footage isn’t listed currently, we think you’ll fit right in.
The cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an ocean-side deck in addition to a built-in barbeque, all modern appliances, laundry, and a floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace. The 61-year-old cottage is truly charming for anyone wanting to relocate to Malibu.
Though the home was previously on the market a couple of years ago for $5.5 million, Plumb has had better luck renting it. Maybe the housing market has also affected folks moving in and around Hollywood. At least we know that no one was immune when the bubble burst on us!
While moving to Malibu may just be a pipe dream for some – combining the idea of living in a Brady’s house on the beach may just be too much for some fans to bear!
