Clean up your coastline

Clean up your coastline

Plastic has increased in the last 40 years in the northeast Pacific Ocean.  Places like Washington and Oregon are seeing more trash wash up on shore, which has created plenty of concerns for those who live on the coast.  If you have recently relocated to the area, you might decide that starting up a cleaning project of the beaches and coastline is a great way to meet your neighbors.  The Pacific Northwest is a beautiful area to relocate to, but it could soon be riddled with trash if you are not careful in cleaning it up.

One of the reasons that hiring a moving company to get you out to the Pacific Northwest is because of the beauty that can be found on the coastline.  There are not many places where you can find mountains and water.  Furthermore, you have plenty of wildlife, such as orcas, humpback whales, sea lions and otters that will continually keep you company.  Washington is one of the greenest places in the United States due to the high amount of rain and temperate rain forests.  It can make for a beautiful place to raise a family, retire, or just enjoy a second home.  The trash that keeps floating in is taking away from the beauty somewhat, but that can be taken care of with a community cleanup crew when you meet your new neighbors.  The cost of living in many parts of Washington or Oregon is affordable, though you do need to look for smaller towns along the coastline.
