Exempla Medical Center, currently located in Kansas, is to undergo a move of its headquarters. The office move will take 150 workers from Kansas to Colorado. The workers will have offices in Broomfield. There will also be an addition of jobs at the medical center. According to the medical center owners, 150 workers will be relocated during the office move.
It was stated that, over time, roughly 500 more jobs would be added to areas of Denver and Broomfield. This is good news for the state and cities. SCL Health System also announced that 750 jobs would be brought to the region with a $2.7 billion hospital network that is to be set up. There is a press conference about the new jobs set for Wednesday March 21st. The relocation of the office is a huge deal for the state, the city of Denver, and for residents. It can also be a good thing for those looking in the medical field for possible jobs. There will undoubtedly be in state staff members recruited as well as those from other regions. Employee relocation may be on the menu for the 150 from Kansas, and there could be a lot more employee relocations in the coming months.
Even jobs in the construction field are set to open, considering the change in the hospital network and the money to be spent on a facility. The hope is to have a network that will support four hospitals in the greater Denver area, and also serve four states with top level medical.
