Kiss and Make Up Day, which takes place every year on August 25th, is a terrific way to put an end to a spat. Everybody has an argument, a tiff or a fight every now and again, with no one – family, friends or even lovers – escaping without having the occasional disagreement. August 25th, however, is the day to put an end to the fighting and kiss and make up instead. This sounds like a pretty fun day if you do it properly!
August 25th is the day to end fights. Whether they are short spats or long standing feuds, the issues need to be dealt with and your differences resolved, and then kiss and make up. After all, there is little that is sweeter than making up, especially if you are lovers, in which case it is by far the best part of the fight! There are even some people who suggest that fighting is made worthwhile by the kissing and making up part.
There is no doubt that Kiss and Make Up Day would also be a very fine day on which to send flowers to the people you would like to kiss and make up with.
Although both the creator and the origins of Kiss and Make Up Day appear to be shrouded in mystery and possibly lost in the mists of time, there is little doubt that, if done right, it can be one of the very best days of the year.
