You can usually rely on your moving company to deal with the relocation of large-scale machines during your office move; however, you still need to do a few things to ensure that these machines are ready to be moved.
You may have an IT department to deal with your computers; however, you will still need to make sure that all leads are disconnected and all computer equipment is dismantled.
You may have vending machines in your staff room or waiting areas. If this is the case, you need to make sure that they are empty before they are moved and that machines that make hot drinks are disconnected from the water supply before your commercial relocation. If the machines are leased then you may be able to get the provider to empty and move them for you.
If you have water coolers then you will need to make sure that they are emptied before the office move. If you have a filter-type cooler then you will need to make sure that it is disconnected from the water supply.
You need to make sure that any equipment that has been rented can be relocated. To obtain permission you will need to contact the supplier, as you will need their authorization to take the equipment with you to the new location. The supplier can also collect anything you are not able to take with you.
