Adele is said to be planning to move to the United States. The English singer, who has a five-year-old son – Angelo – with her fiancé Simon Konecki, had rented Sir Paul McCartney’s home in the country when she was getting ready for her performance at the Academy Awards last month, but it is now being claimed that she intends to find a much more permanent base in Los Angeles where she can raise her young son.
“Adele can see the benefits of bringing up a child in the US,” a source allegedly told British tabloid newspaper the Mirror. “They can be outside, enjoying the weather and loving life out of the spotlight. Los Angeles is a great place for children to grow up and she intends on working a lot more with a new album. She could afford to put a studio in her house. That way she could beaver away on new music without having to worry.”
The Someone Like You songstress is believed to be taking advice on how to find a new home to move into from friend Ayda Field, who is married to pop star Robbie Williams. Adele and Konecki have apparently been looking at relocation into a pad at one of Beverly Hills’ exclusive gated communities, as Field and Williams have apparently told them that they would get enough land to avoid feeling trapped while still having plenty of privacy.
The new claims come barely a month after Adele had denied earlier rumors that she was intending to move to the US.
