Bruce Willis Sells Home in Record Time

Bruce Willis Sells Home in Record Time

If you are moving to New York, you have just missed out on one really cool apartment.  On the market for only five days, a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom New York City apartment owned by Bruce Willis sold for just under $4 million.  In today’s housing market, that may actually be record time!

The apartment, located in Trump Place, is situated on the top floor and has only been in Willis’ possession since 2007.  Back then he paid $4.26 million for it.   We’re wondering if the buyer is a really big “Die Hard” fan or maybe just wanting to move in right away!

Listing the condo below $4 million was quite a strategic move for Willis who bought the unit before he married Emma Heming.  Willis wanted to sell the unit quickly and easily – and he definitely did.  Furthermore when we heard about all the amenities it made us wish we could relocate to Trump Place as well.

Simply walk by 220 Riverside Boulevard to see the façade of the building.  Inside, Willis’ unit is filled with Brazilian cherry wood, 11-foot ceilings, and several corner exposures looking out on the Hudson River as well as the George Washington Bridge.  With 17 huge windows and just over 2,300 square feet, this apartment sounds breathtaking.

This isn’t the only property Willis has listed recently.  He is currently trying to sell his Idaho nightclub, which closed in 2008, for almost $6 million.  He and ex-wife Demi Moore owned the bar together; then called Mint.  Apparently, Willis is moving on in more ways than one.
