Great neighborhoods in Sarasota

If you want to move to Sarasota, you need to be aware of a few of the neighborhoods and what they have to offer you and your family.

First on the list of neighborhoods to consider is Gillespie Park, which is becoming the arty and bohemian area the young and trendy have been looking for. The area is close to the Downtown area and the regeneration that has happened there has had a knock-in effect on Gillespie Park. The properties here are mainly old cottages and concrete-built duplexes. There are still some parts of the neighborhood that have a less than sterling reputation; however, this is rapidly changing.

Alternatively, you could consider Paver or Ringling Park for your relocation to Florida. These two neighborhoods sit next to each other. Ringling Park is home to small houses built in the 1950s and the ranch homes located in Paver are from the same period. The location is perfect for most people who move to Sarasota because all the main parts of the city are within easy reach.

You could also consider Gulf Gate. This used to be a popular area with retirees, but more and more young families are moving in and it is becoming a very trendy area in which to live. There is now a great bar scene and some of the top restaurants in the city are located here. The homes are fairly modest and the prices are competitive when compared with other areas of the city.
