The average household of the 21st century includes numerous electronic devices such as computers, televisions, microwaves and audio systems, and all manner of other tools and appliances. Electronic devices come with a complex internal mechanism that can unfortunately be only too easily destroyed or damaged by shocks. To avoid this happening you must make sure that there are no collisions with other items. The relocation of electronics and appliances is something that can be a little tricky to begin with, and some knowledge and skills are required. The very first thing that needs to be done is to disconnect all electronic appliances from power outlets.
All wiring and cables should also be disconnected and stored in a particular plastic bag or specific place. All devices should be cleaned with specially designed cleaners and napkins before being packed; if possible, the devices should be packed in their original boxes, complete with intact polystyrene foam. If this is not possible then you should buy new suitable boxes or use foam filling to repair the foam. Make sure all materials are static-free.
Smaller accessories and components, such as remote controls, should be packed accordingly and then placed in a designated parts box. Extra cushioning should be used for protection when packing for the move, with paper padding, multiple layers of bubble wrap and foam peanuts all being very useful.
