Rumors began to circulate last week that Twilight stars and real-life couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson had reconciled and were attempting to save the relationship that was all but demolished by the former’s admission of infidelity. Now it seems that the reconciliation is official, with further reports stating that the two have once again decided to move in together.
The reconciliation seems to have happened very quickly, with sources claiming that Pattinson was “devastated” without Stewart and is prepared to give her a second chance if she is prepared to really make the effort and commit to the relationship wholeheartedly. Pattinson is apparently willing to try out a one-month trial period.
“They are living together and have reconciled,” US Weekly was allegedly told by an inside source, who also added that although they had a “dramatic makeup”, the 26-year-old actor remains “insecure” and “extra-sensitive” after the much publicized scandal over 22-year-old Stewart’s brief fling with Rupert Sanders, the director of her fantasy movie Snow White and the Huntsman.
When the scandal first broke earlier this summer, Pattinson ended their three-year romance. Stewart was forced to move out of the home they shared together in Los Angeles, but now it seems that she may be back. OK! Magazine is now reporting that the star couple is planning to go on a “secret getaway” away from the Hollywood spotlight and “just be together without all the distractions.”
