Celebrity moving days are well coordinated operations

Most people, when they decide on relocation, do not begin their moving day by beginning and finishing in the wee small hours of the night.  Nor do they have their moving company send out 12 other identical moving vans as decoys at the same time in order to stop people from discovering where they live.  It is also highly unlikely that you or I would ever ask our moving company to sign a non-disclosure agreement that promises to never reveal details of our possessions or what occurs in our household during moving.

Then again, we are not celebrities.  For moving companies that specialize in discreet, fast and top-notch moves brimming with TLC, the above scenario is just an ordinary day at work.  Celebrities have to take these precautions, however, because they are concerned about protecting both their privacy and their security from the likes of not just the paparazzi but also from celebrity stalkers.  Many of the people who have a tendency to follow around the famous have become increasingly aggressive in recent times, making the issue an even bigger concern for the famous.

Sometimes the move occurs as a result of a break-up between a celebrity couple, with some movers having been asked on occasion to cease moving and even hide the boxes to prevent the celebrity’s significant ex-partner from seeing any evidence of the relocation taking place.  There are even specialist moving firms devoted to moving the famous.
